aint sure if there is already an existing march 2011 test takers' support group. nonetheless, i ought to just create one.. study tips and advices, as well as encouragement, motivation, support, and prayers from each and everyone of us may play a big role in our preparation for this battle. let's all be rn's!! good luck to us!! may the good lord be with us all in our way to passing the nclex!!
Clee, the PVT trick seems to be accurate. It worked for me and many others on here. All I did was the PVT trick, when I got the good pop up I told myself that I had passed and decided not to do the quick results even though they were available 48 hours after my test time (which was on Sunday morning). I saved the $7.95 and waited until Wed. for my license number to show up on the state board site. Just relax, you passed! Congratulations!!!!:yelclap:
Congratz To all Nurses who have taken the exam for this month of March. We should all be proud cuz we got this far.whatever the results maybe pass or fail. Ive taken my exam this morning at Gardena, it took me a while to finished but The comp. stopped at 197. I wanna thank God, my friends and family for their loving support.
:redbeathe I always come on here and read all of the encouraging posts from everyone who is either taking, gonna take or just taken their NCLEX exam. It is always encouraging to read all the comments and read how everyone is so supportive. It kept me strong as I myself studied for my own exam.
I didn't think walking in today for my exam that I had a chance to pass. I've only been studying for 2 weeks because I was in a 6 week math class that took up all of my time right after I graduated in December. I knew I had to do it though. I was very calm and I was just smiling the whole time. I wasn't sure of any of my answers. I kept thinking that I had to pick the best answer and that I wasn't. What is more life-threatening? Is it safe? What are the steps? I thought the questions they were giving me were either too easy or too hard and I felt I couldn't answer either with certainty! I was thinking, I will accept my failure. The computer stopped at 75 and I was surprised! 2 hours and 20 min I think it took me. Then I thought, yeah, they blew my bluff! They know I suck and all they needed was 75 questions to evaluate what a fool I am. I still had a sense of humor about it. I walked out and told the lady that I would see her again in 45 days. She was like, "No I won't. I'm sure you passed." How does she know?
:smokin:I drove home and blasted my music. I kept thinking to myself that it's not the end of the world. I will take it again. I wasn't depressed. Just resigned. I was afraid to try the pop up. I got home too soon. I live 10 minutes away from the site. I live in SoCal by the way. Not even traffic to distract me. My daughter says to try "the trick." I didn't want to and but I did. It said that it was still processing or something like that. I was relieved. I don't want to know! But she urged me to check again. I did it and I guess I got the "good pop up." Said I couldn't re-register and to contact the Member Board for further assistance. I know from reading all of your posts that this is supposedly a good thing. I was in shock! No way that I passed! I got all excited and started jumping up and down and my daughter even got all emotional. :yeah:I'm still kinda hesistant to believe there's a possibility that I passed. Until I see my name on the BON site Tuesday or Wednesday, then maybe I'll believe it.
I just want to say that I've laughed and cried and sympathized with every one of your posts. It has kept me going in this long process of trying to become an RN. You ladies/guys are so encouraging and helpful and just UNDERSTAND how I feel. I am grateful for your help on these sites. Even if I fail, I will be thankful that it's over and I won't have to see that test for at least another 45 days.
Good luck to all of you who are still studying. Don't give up! Know all your priority, who will you see first, safety, contact, airborne and droplet questions. I didn't get one medication problem or any fill ins. Did get lots of SATA, maybe 10 or 15 and 2 or 3 sort them in order. Think I got a few med questions. Hope this helps! Study, study, study! I did the NCSBN site for a little over 2 weeks and it was very, very similar to what I saw today.
I will keep you posted on my official results. :redbeathe
I took the NCLEX - RN Thursday am. I felt like I passed. When I got home, I checked PVT and I got the "good" pop up. I really hope its all true, but I am nervous about the possibility that I failed. Until I get my actual license number, I can't really celebrate yet. Wish me luck. I will know tomorrow morning.
I'm about finished with my Kaplan. I just took QT6 and got a 64%. All of my q trainers have been in the 60s with the exception of one, and I was too tired to really focus on that one (got a 58%.) I've only done 30% of my qbank though, which the grand poobahs of Kaplan say is bad so I'll keep working on that over the weekend. I think I might nap, then do the last q trainer.
I was going to reschedule, but my confidence is pretty good right now Tuesday is still looking good!
I think it helps psychologically to do ALL the Kaplan Qs, because they tell you you have 90% chance of passing if you do, & whether it's true or not, it's good to have that reassurance! I was basically intimidated by Kaplan into believing I HAD to do all the Qs, & even though I didn't feel confident when I finished the NCLEX, I actually did pass. I think Kaplan has a formula to get people to pass. They know what works & that's what they sell.

I took my test for LPN earlier today, I am so nervous it shut off at i think 87 questions. Hopefully this is a good sign!! :uhoh21: I did the PVT trick and got the good pop up, I am wondering how long people have waited to call or go online to get the "quick results".
They say to wait two buisness days but iv'e heard that 24 hours is enough. If anyone can validate that the trick has recently worked for them I would so appreciate it. Thank you all for this site it is so supportive!!
