how many of you going to start the nursing program in fall 2002?

Hoping to get in for fall 2002. I'm finishing up with A & P II this semester. I am starting a CNA program tomorrow; it's not a requirement for entry but I thought it would be a great learning experience. I won't know if I'm in until the end of May. The wait is going to kill me! I still need to take my PSB examination. My school assigns points based on your PSB score and the number of pre-req's taken. Has anyone else taking the PSB??? If so, what was it like.

hi all i just applied for nursing school on the 1st of feb. won't know anything until the 2nd week of april--that's along time to wait--but hopefully will get to start the program for fall2002--im taking my last two prereqs now

ME, ME, ME

I am so excited and can't wait. During the summer I am taking eng com II, human growth and development, and a&p II. Originally, I wasn't supposed to take all these other than a&pII but the community college I was attending, is closing thier nursing program if they can not get passing scores for the board exam to at least 75%. THis puts me approx.6 months behind. Oh, well....... will graduate in May 2004!! CAN'T WAIT

:roll I am just so excited for everybody. It's nice to know that others are in the same boat I am.

I am in my last two pre-reqs..which are A&P II and Micro. I have every class completed except these too. I talked to the director of the nursing program about my grades and pre-entrance exam scores and she told me to plan my summer as if I was starting....this year our school is offering Pharmacology to 1st semester nursing students in the summer to help lift the burden of that semester and make it lighter. There goes my summer but heck, I'm not complaining. Although my family is!!!

Too bad...they'll get over it. My 5 kids just think that if I'm studying, there won't be swimming time. I think that'll be the best time to relax, get a tan and NOT think about studying for a while.

I cant wait! I start the Nursing Program August 02! I am almost done with my pre-req's. I am currently taking a political science class (yawn) and this spring/summer I will take a BLS course, and finish up my last psych course.

I also wanted to mention I'm taking chemistry and A&P II right now. I have to wait to apply to the ADN program though because I haven't finished the prereqs. I'm hoping there will be spaces still available.

Just got my acceptance letter yesterday.

I'm finishing my pre-reqs this semester, and HOPING to start fall 2002. I've applied to 2 programs, both are accelerated pathway for BSN (I have a previous BA in Spanish--didn't get me too far!) Is anyone else applying to an Accelerated BSN (one year) program? I'd be interested in hearing...

Unfortunately I just heard back from one of the programs yesterday, and it turns out i'm on the waiting list--they have too many applicants!!? My grades are good, i worked my butt off to get As in these recent sciences...now i'm waitlisted! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the other program...
