I was offered a job and they performed a urinalysis on site, I did not expect this to happen. I took a 7.5/15 ml dose of hydrocodone on Tuesday afternoon, I took the drug screen on Friday morning so I am sure that I failed. Now I am worried about what will be done. Could I lose my license? Please spare me the speech about drug use, I am well aware of how stupid this was, I just want to know what could possibly happen, I am hoping for some honest and non judgemental insight, how will they let me know I failed, will they report me to BON, What actions might be taken against me?
I know how anxious you are...((HUGS)) But it is impossible to know any particular turn around time from different sources and facilities.
BREATHE....there is nothing you can do now. You can only deal with what may or may not come. One day at a time. We are praying for you. It's a hard lesson but one I hope you wil find valuable and never do this again.
When I was tested on site at my previous job, the lid of the container indicated positive or negative right there, but I only knew that because I had never had a drug test actually at the job rather than somewhere like Lab Corp, so if I hadn't made conversation about it, they might not have said specifically "You passed because the lid here says you passed." I am hoping for the very best for you!!!!!!!!
Enough already. This forum is here for recovery help. Not to nurse someone through a drug screen. Get a grip. If you are looking for recovery, people have shown you they are here. If you choose to continue to self medicate whatever the reason its not fair to use this section as a sounding board for your fears of getting busted. If you are an addict I hope that you get the help you need to quit, and if you arent learn from your experience. Good luck, sounds like you passed...

I think you're going to just have to ride this one out and see what happens...you're playing the what if game right now. Your friend probably knows the rules better than we do. That would also be an excellent question for a lawyer. I'd call one- I got a free consultation over the phone and what you say to them stays in confidence
