Hopefully! If not, those openings raise alot of questions!

They are just a really big health system from what I can see, and when I did a search it only came up with 85 nursing jobs, and that included LPN and RN.

Was going to take a job in Minot. But changed my mind after the way the realtor talked down to me. Good luck.

Supposedly oil has been found there.

Why not Minot?

Its really cold there in the winter.

I was born in Grand Forks :)

I live in the Northeast and a friend of mine moved there last year for an ICU job. He loves it!

*** The reason for all the job is cause that area is experiencing a HUGE population explosion related to the vast oil fields that have been found there and that recent technology has allow them to exploit it. Here in the upper mid west there are North Dakota job fairs all the time. There is going to be a really big one on May 13th in Minneapolis.

There is also a housing shortage. A neighbor who is going to a job interview (truck driver) there next week was forced to get a motel room two hours away from Minot. Several local contractors have been going over there to build houses and apartments.

It's not a case of the hospital being a dump and a bad place to work that they can't hire anyone.

Google "North Dakota Oil" and you can read all about it.

Specializes in Cardiac.

Too bad I would never ever want to live in ND :( Too cold! :p
