Timed pinned to board: 1:44pm CST
Well Friends. I am back from the wild blue yonder. Unfortunately, I have to say that it was a dry run. There were no live specimens to collect.
(this is my school that the secretary and admin are new). After I had determined that there was no live lice crisis, and I was taking some extra time to educate the secretary and admin. After I got done with what I wanted them to know, I just couldn't resist...I had to tell them about the conversation with my (you) school nurse friends about such things as the science experiments that we talk about and how we find it entertaining to pin a Ziploc bag containing a live lice, just to prove how soon the little buggers will die when off the human head.
I also shared the visual of what we think a Super Lice is...with a cape and a shirt with a big S on it!! They thought that was really funny!!
I don't they think they found it as funny as we do. However, I do think it helped them to know that there is a method to this madness that we are trying to accomplish with trying to educate the world about our little crawling bugger. Also, they picked up on the collaboration that we need, and have to get from outside the four walls of wherever we happen to be.

Very busy morning already, so sorry for the delayed update...
As of 8:46 CST said louse is DOA, wheels up, checked out.
That concludes the experiment and confirms to all that lice do not live in colonies, having parties in the classroom. Please let all teachers know they are safe.
