Name a disease and then name the drug that's mostly commonly associated with that disease or condition. Here's mine: Erythromicin is seen with chlamydia and syphilis. Anybody else got anything?

You should like this one, or maybe you know about this one.
Avastin for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). ROP is a complication of prematurity where the retinal vessels grow tortuously and can eventually cause retinal detachment & blindness. Avastin is a angiogenesis inhibitor usually used for cancer therapy to starve the tumors by inhibiting the vessels that feed them.
Avastin is investigational for ROP and it involves injecting into the intravitrial fluid. It works remarkably well though and doesn't limit the infant's vision like the laser procedures that was the only available treatment before.
So, I guess it's the only drug of choice for ROP, as there is only one other treatment and it's surgical.
Hypertension is typically treated with = diuretics, ACE (Angiotensin Converting Enzyme) inhibitors, Angiotensin-II Receptor Blockers (ARBs), Beta-Blockers, DHP Calcium Channel Blockers (CCBs).
Diuretics = hydrochlorothiazide
ACE Inhibitors = lisinopril
Angiotensin-II Receptor Blockers = losartan
Beta Blockers = propranolol
Dihydropyridine calcium-channel blockers (CCBs) = amlodipine
