Just took NCLEX-RN

Published

I just took the NCLEX_RN today and feel really stupid. I had a bunch of select all that apply, some delegation, drugs that I was not familiar with, and only one calculation. The test stopped at 75 questions. I was very shocked when it did. Any thoughts?

thank you very much isis73, rn. i like the way that looks!!:D:d:d:d

hehe...me too! told my hubby i was going to get a journal and fill it with my name, rn--just for practice!:dncgbby:

Took my nclex this morning...had 76, not 75 questions..hope all goes well. My stomach is killing me.

I took it this morning too. I feel the same way. Mine shut off at 75 and I am dying to get my results. I have the feeling that I did not pass. The questions seemed so much different than all the stuff I studied. I had SO many sata's. I also had many drugs I felt unfamiliar with and a bunch of strange infection controll questions. I hoping the best for us both....:(

Sounds like we are in the same boat! Mine shut off at 75, which shocked me... in fact, I nearly fell out of my chair. I had tons of SATA's too... and I felt unfamiliar with the pharm, as well... which is odd, because I've always been pretty strong in pharm.

YOU ARE ALL IN MY PRAYERS!

Congrats to all who passed!:yeah:

to those of you still waiting for your results hang in there, take a break and go out and do something fun! after all you've been in nursing school so it has probably been awhile since you went out and had fun! And you will all be in my prayers.

I took also last June 6, dont have the result yet.... it also stopped at 75 but my computer never shut off... lol

And it asked me for few more questions that were not counted to the exam, just a survey....

Still waiting, and prayers for us. good luck:saint:

Boy was I glad to see this post. I also took my NCLEX on June 13 and the computer shut off after 75 questions. I as well feel I did not get a good chance to prove myself. It sure is hard waiting 48 hours. Has anyone ever heard of results being available through Pearson VUE sooner? Prior to testing I thought I would never pay the fee to find out sooner and now I am all about it. I can't stand the wait! I know I am going to drive my family crazy this weekend with the stress of worrying but I can't help it. :banghead:

I paid the $$$$ to know and then found out a few hours later it was on the wyoming bon site. On top of that I got the hard copy in the mail, 5 hours after I paid the money. I thought for sure it would be 4-6 weeks before I would see it. The NCLEX is amazing, I can't believe that's what determines our career! You did good

best $8 I ever spent! I'd have paid $100 to know immediately.

Does anyone know if Pearson VUE posts quick results on Sundays? Just curious if Sunday counts towards the 48 hours to wait. Thanks, Jess:confused:

I heard that Pearson will post on the weekends so heres HOPING that they do. I dont think I could wait another day!!! I am so afraid to logon tomorrow though. I dont know if I should do it or have my husband do it for me so it softens the blow if I failed. Just thinking about it makes me wanna cry.

From what I understand, results are posted on Sundays. My friend took her boards last week and received her results on Sunday.

And as for the anxiety about looking tomorrow... I am right there with you! I can't even think about it without getting nauseous! BUT... at the same time, I am so ready to find out.
