I just took my NCLEX-RN boards the second time and feel horrible ! the first time I had 265 questions and failed, well, go figure, lucky me once again had 265 questions!!!! How frustrating! Have any of you ever heard of someone passing with 265 after failing with 265????????? I need some encouragement right now, that test is awful !

Everyone leaves feeling like they failed, and the number of questions has no bearing on your chances. Good luck with the wait!

I had only 75 questions on the NCLEX but felt just as horrible as you do after taking it. I was very dissapointed and upset and thought I failed. I did pass however...I don't think anyone can say with certainty they did well or not and my advice is try to do anything that will make you feel good until you find out the results. Sleep, watch movies, anything that will take your mind off the test. I was able to look up my results online in 2 bussiness days but I know there are only a couple of states that do that...for others you need to wait longer. Good luck and hang in there!

I wish you the best of luck on your results. I have a friend who failed at around 220ish...but passed the second time at 265. I know its not the same as failing at 265 the first time, but it has happened. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure that there are plenty of people out there that took the test for the first time and had 265 questions and failed. They took it a second time and got the whole 265 questions again and passed. Stop worrying and I'm pretty sure you did well. My fingers are crossed for you. Good Luck!!!
Thanks guys! hope you're right! Atleast I will know tomorrow, but it's still torture!!!
Just found out that I didn't pass, again. maybe next time will be better, third times a charm right? 45 days, and I'll get back on the horse.

I'm sorry to hear that. What methods have you been using to prepare? Are you thinking of using a different gameplan for the next try?

Try suzannes1s method, I hear it really works :) I passed on the first try with no studying (I attribute this to my excellent education) so I can't really tell you how good her study materials/suggestions are. But I hear many people praising them.
Sorry you failed but it doesn't mean your a failure - you can get back on that horse and ride - and you will. Good luck
No, I'm sorry to hear. Yes, you are right third is a charm. I failed my NCLEX twice. Take about a 2-3 day break and jump right back on it. I started using the Suzanne4 study guide and it's really good.
