  1. For what I know,u are allowed to take the nclex 3x and if you didnt make it the 3rd time they'll send you a letter stating that you need to take a lecture or a review with a certain no.of hours that you have to complete before taking the nclex again.I'm from New Jersey and i'M not sure if that goes the same with the other states. Don't worry a lot pass in their 3rd time. You can make it...Goodluck:o
  2. As for me,i would suggest that you use the saunders + CD on it!I'ts all in there that you have to know and master for the NCLEX most especially if you just graduated, which is everything is still fresh you just have to practice a LOT of questions plus you don't get to spend money! But if a class would help you concentrate and you have the money ,then go for it!!!kaplan's questions is very similar to the NCLEX. One more tip:make sure to use only 1 or 2 books so as not to confused you.Anyways they're all the same. GOODLUCK!!!!!!
  3. Hi,I took kaplan last yr.but wasn't successful.I just wasted money for that.I would suggest that you get the saunders comprehensive review and make use of suzanne's plan.It really works for me plus it's free and all your time is yours. NCLEX is not a matter of what review center you took, but rather a mastery of your concepts. You just have to managed your time for review and make use of 1 particular book only. GOODLUCK.......
  4. Thanks...yah...that's what i'm thinking because a lot of people telling me not to go on med surg because it's really hard. the thing is, learning is there.Thats why i wanted to go on peds for a start hehehe.. Thanks for the advise.By the way, since your in medsurg will it be hard for me again to go into it?Im really worried and scared that i might don't know a lot things already.
  5. Hi tweety, thanks for replying.I was able to work In my country since i am a registered nurse there.I've been out of nursing for 4 yrs cos' i have to concentrate with several exams that i have to take just to be here in US at the same time being a mother.I arrive here in the US a year ago and took the NCLEX last july and passed. I'm quite worried that hospital would'nt accept me and do i need to take refresher course?I applied at 2 hospitals here but it's been 2 weeks and havent receive any call.I was applying for peds.My experience in my country was in med surg.would it be possible for me to be hired in peds? Which area do you think i have to start, since im starting nursing again?what preparations do i need?will they train me? Thanks
  6. Hi everybody,I just wanted to ask for advise...I graduated 1999 was able to work as a nurse for almost a year in 2004.since then i wasn't working and just recently, i passed the nclex exam.I have plans of applying in a hospital now. My worries are: will i be able to go back and will hospital hire me since i've been out of nursing for 4 yrs? Please help need all your suggestions and advises......
  7. Hi,you know what?the best advice i could you is relax for now and allow at least 2 mos to prepare before taking the test. One thing most important that i could share to you is:since it's your 3rd time already,Never ever hunt for more review materials coz' it'll just confuse you.Stick to 1 book only. The key to passing the NCLEX is not how many reviewers you read, but MASTERY of all your basic concepts. In other words REPETITION!!!Try SUZANNE's PLAN and make use of the SAUNDERS COMPREHENSIVE GOODLUCK TO YOU!!AND NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!
  8. THANK'S SO MUCH EVERYBODY!!!!! To those out there whose taking the test soon GOODLUCK to you guys and to those who's hurdling the exam, never ever give up!!! Suzanne, thanks much again!! Now i'll be facing another step of my life, being an RN!!! Thanks ALL NURSES.....:bowingpur:bowingpur:bowingpur:yeah::wink2::wink2:
  9. :wink2: I finally made it for the 5th time!!!!!!:yeah::yeah:i really thought there would be no hope for me,but keep on hoping and praying coz'it'll come in HIS time. To suzanne,a MILLION thanks to you and your plan.If not for that,i think it'll still be a Dream for me to be an RN.To those out there who's hurdling the NCLEX-RN,I recommend that you use SUZANNE'S PLAN!I did her plan before, but never followed exactly what is says! SO DO IT RELIGIOUSLY!!!!!!It really works!!!!i also recommend getting a copy of the PDA by la charity that book really helped me plus the 250 alternative type of questions by lippincott. Thanks to allnurses:bowingpur:bowingpur:)
  10. while reading your post,i feel like some quite a relief for me.I took the test july 18 the 5th time already and got 265 q's too.I've been ending up with 265 q's eversince i'm taking the test.I'ts really hard on me ending up like this again.I wanna HOPE to pass but the feeling of being failed again still there.Your post that u passed with 265 gives me hope that hopefully it'll be a success for me this time. Thanks and congratulations RN
  11. Hayyyyy...I've been having phobia already whenever i'm taking the nclex and ending up again with 265 the 5th time already!!! Just took the test yesterday july 18 and i don't know if i still wanted to chk on the result coz'i had 265 again.I've been hoping and praying during the test that it'll stop early because i knew it is a good indicator. But unfortunately,it didn't!The worst thing is i've been getting 265 q's eversince i'm taking this test. Don't know what to do anymore! Will i still be a nurse or they would require me now to go back to nursing school!!!I wanna quit!Really hard to go over and study.Need your advices plsssss.....:(
  12. It makes me scared now.I just took the exam yest july 18 and ended up with 265 again for the 5th time now.I really don'tknow anymore what to do coz' mostly i think fail with 265 and based on my experience too.....

I ended up with 265 yest july 18.I was so disappointed coz' this is my 5th time already and i've been getting 265 eversince i'm taking the nclex-rn! I hope and really pray that this would be my last.Really was a bad feeling for me,most especially ending up again at 265. Goodluck to everybody.
  14. Hi,just a suggestion.Saunders is an excellent tool to pass the NCLEX.All you need to learn is in there.Try to just concentrate on 1 reviewer so as not to confused you and will not help in the end. Goodluck....
  15. Just to give you an idea.As with my case,i took the New Jersey boards several times alrdy. After the 3rd attempt, they require me to take a remediation class in order for them to allow me to take the boards the 4th time. So you have to check first coz' it really depends on what state you are.
