June 2008 NCLEX support group

This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.

To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.

Thank you, jazzymika! I don't feel very prepared but I guess we'll see how it goes tomorrow! I think I would start with trainer 1 and then work your way up. From my understanding you are supposed to use 7 as a "mock" NCLEX so to speak, but as long as you get through all of them, I'd say your fine! Thanks for your good luck wishes! So its 7am here and I am testing at 1:15. I woke up at 6 and said a prayer for all who are testing today. We can do this. I will try to post after I take the test today! Best of luck to all other test takers. Lobo I'll be thinking about you.:plsebeg:

Well, it's officially my test day! I test in two hours and counting! I didn't get a full nights rest, that's for sure but I think my body will just ride on adrenaline! I just had to get on here and say thank you to everyone for all of the ongoing support you have provided me with! This is probably one of the hardest days of my life and I could not have made it to this point without everyone! I love it that we are strangers who have come together in support and encouragement because of one thing in common- it's pretty amazing if you ask me! Well, as usual, please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers today as I face the beast! I'll let you guys know how it goes! GOOD LUCK to everyone else testing today! Let's rock this test out and prove that we ARE RN's!! God Bless and my thoughts are with all of you! :heartbeat

Sounds much like mine, but with 18 SATAs and 4 complex drug calcs, and I passed.

i just prayed for you and i just ask the lord to tell you all the answer in your ears and he will, you are a smart girl i can just see you typing guysssssss i passeddddd!!! god bless you sweety and it's ok to feel bad after the test!!!

Bless your heart lobo, I feel sorry for your upcoming wait, just to see that you passed, when you should be able to know when the test is over. I know you couldn't have slept much but soon that will be a distant memory and you will be signing RN after your name with a smile each time. We are all praying for you and all the others testing so get back on here after your nap and let us know how it went.

Congratulations to all who have taken the NCLEX RN and passed.

I took mine Wednesday June 18th and took 220 something. My heart almost fell out of my chest when the screen went blank. I didn't even get out of the building before I started crying and saying that I knew I had failed. The two day wait was awful, I was sick to my stomach the two days waiting. Well got my results at about 7:40 yesterday morning and I was so amazed. It is so weird how family and friends have so much more confidence in you than you do. I do have one question and I know everyone is going to be thinking at this point why do you care but here it goes. Is there anyway when you pass that you can see how many questions you missed or your weak areas? Just curious. Well wish you all who have it left to take good luck!!!! Remember you can do all things through CHrist who Strengthens you!!!!!!!!:yeah:

I'd like to know what all I missed too, but I don't think there is any way.

At least learning the weak areas would help!!!

I found out this morning that I PASSED the NCLEX that I took on Tuesday (June 17). I had 265 questions in 4 1/2 hours and did not think I could have passed. What a relief. It is amazing how a test could make me feel so undone and restless. (we go to school for years to come down to this ONE test and it makes all the difference...crazy!) I can relax for a few weeks. I start work as a med-surg RN on July 14. woo-hoo!!!

It's not over til it's over! Keep up the faith and hold on to Hope!

I passed!!! took it the 17th for california board of nursing and saw my name on the website today!!!!!!! What a great feeling!!!

ironically enough, it's the day of my graduation/going away party....and we made nursing jello shots with plastic syringes..haha...(not sure if that's appropriate for the website but hey..im pretty pumped!)
