June 2008 NCLEX support group

Published

This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.

To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.

Thanks!

Baceball, I'm so sorry to hear that. Take a little while to recoup and then go at it again! Good luck and stay positive. This stupid thing is no reflection of how you truly are as a nurse!

pray for me! nine days to nclex... woohoo... :-) i am nervous, but really trying to rise above it. this is my third attempt!

Hi all! NCLEX for me is less than 3 weeks :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:!!!!!!!!!

I am really ********* my pants about this test. I took Kaplan's review, and doing 100 q bank questions a day. Also using Saunders quizzes and ATI.

Any advice from those who took Kaplan and passed the Nclex?

Good luck to all June testers!!!!! And congrats to those who already passed:yeah:

Today is officially the day. I take my test at 5pm. Ahhhh...

Hey everyone,

I am a little late posting on here since I forgot my login information. I take the NCLEX-RN on June 10, which is next Tuesday. I have been doing a combination of the Saunders and NCLEX-3500 for the past two weeks. I have been doing on average about 300 questions a day, breaking it down by study area. I am starting to flip out a little bit :scrying::chuckle. I wish everyone luck!

I will be reviewing Peds this weekend, the final leg of my journey. Also throwing in some Pharmacology. I will be glad when this is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:smokin:

Best of luck to those testing today!!!

I just stumbled across this thread, but here I am!

I test on June 17.

I've been using Saunders, NCBSN, and Made Incredibly Easy NCLEX RN to prepare. I'm reviewing each system (as well as OB, Peds, and Psych) by skimming the chapter in both books, taking brief notes on things I'm not sure I'll remember, and then taking the practice tests at the end of the chapters.

I'm also doing questions from NCBSN and the Saunder's disk. I have found that the NCBSN questions have been much harder than Saunders and make me feel like I didn't learn anything in school! Not a comfortable feeling to have less than 2 weeks before the test.

I plan on finishing up the system reviews by this weekend, then will focus for the next week on pharmacology, labs, and F & E while continuing to do questions every day.

Hi all! Took NCLEX this morning. Shut off at 75. It felt like I was getting fairly difficult questions, but then I also felt like I was guessing between the "best 2" answers on many of the questions. It's going to be a long couple of days... :o

notadoc (and maybe notanurse, either!)

Good luck to you--hopefully you'll have passed easily!!

Sorry, but I just had to giggle at your signoff there!! Hopefully you will not be notanurse either!!!
