I didn't see a July 09 support group thread up, so I thought I'd get it started.

I'm taking the NCLEX-RN July 3rd for the first (and hopefully only) time. I figured I'd get it done before the holiday weekend so I could at least enjoy some of the time off instead of spending the holiday chained to textbooks...as I've done for the last two years.

Keep us posted you guys once you get your results. My exam in on Thursday so I am just doing some final review and trying not to stress too much.

i also test thurday, i am just going to do some more kaplan questions and i'm trying not to stress either. TRYING lol i don't know what else to do to study now, i don't want to go crazy with it. good luck to you!

I took my test yesterday, I had 78 questions and I am so nervous!! I had 6 or 7 sata and 1 put in order. I really don't know how I did. I did the pearson vue trick and got the pop up so I really hope that that is a good sign!!!

Oh man. All I'm doing at work is constantly checking and rechecking the California BON website.

And I need to get some work done! :uhoh21:

i just posted a few hours ago about trying not to be nervous and its NOT working. :( i just want it to be over and be an RN finally. I sure hope KAPLAN works, has anyone taken kaplan and gotten a few low 50's but other wise 60's-70's and passes? Again good luck to everyone taking the test soon!!!

:redpinkheI'm an RN..passed NCLEX first try =) =) I would advice looking over infection control, some hepatitis facts, and prioritization. I had hardly any OB, 7-10 SATA, no math, and 1 put in order. Good luck to everyone-YOU CAN DO IT!!! just stay confident and pray!

Well, I shut off at 75 questions. Had a couple of meds, a couple of SATA, no maternity, 3 calc, very little growth and development, the meds I'd never heard of but had similar endings to ones we study, some questions on assignments. I can't remember too much since I feel like I was intellectually beaten up. I am a Canadian RN with 10 years experience, did Kaplan, 4000 practice questions, made up flash cards etc. but very little of the details were tested in my opinion. I just sat there thinking.....WHAT THE.....!

Anyway, I went to the Pearson site which says "delivery successful", tried the trick and got the pop up. Cross your fingers. I won't rest until I see my name on the Board of Nursing website.

I FOUND MY NAME ON THE CALIFORNIA BON WEBSITE TODAY!!!!!!!!!

As of today, I am now an RN!!!!! WooT!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I took the NCLEX on 7/23/09. I found out today when my mom called me and told me that I had a letter from the CA BON. I was so excited and scared. I asked her to read it to me and she said YOU PASSED, YOU PASSED! I was really surprise how fast I received the results 8 days after taking the test. I also tried the Pearson trick a few hours after taking the test and I could not register. It referred me to the CA BON. So it does work. This was also accomplished through alot of prayers. Positive Vibes going out to everyone taking the NCLEX. You will be Successful!!
