I didn't see a July 09 support group thread up, so I thought I'd get it started.

I'm taking the NCLEX-RN July 3rd for the first (and hopefully only) time. I figured I'd get it done before the holiday weekend so I could at least enjoy some of the time off instead of spending the holiday chained to textbooks...as I've done for the last two years.

I have been doing Kaplan also and havent been doing the best!! I am no where near 70% on the Qtrainers and I have done almost all of the Qbank, but I am hopeful.

I wrote a thread previously to talk about my experience with NCLEX and the PEARSON VUE trick on Friday... Today I found out I passed which means the PEARSON VUE TRICK once again WORKS!!!!! I am finally a REGISTERED NURSE what a beautiful initial to have after your name!!!!! Good luck to all who dates are approaching and remeber stay calm and relax during the exam!!!!!!!!

I am just like you. I have been on the 40-50%. Sometimes I get 60. I take my time to go over my rationales and decide what I need to read a little more on.

M test is at 8 AM

I know my Infection control. I spent 2 weeks on it. I did lots of questions on it too. Psychological Integrity and Pharm :uhoh3::down:

Was thinking of you this morning 'b,bsn09'!

Mine shut off at 75 questions. 4 or 5 SATA, lots of questions on cohorting, pedes, and psych, and lots more questions that made me go doubleyou tee eff. Bluish tints? Parasitic infections? Are they making up names of drugs? *sigh*.

I've been checking the state BoN site on and off, but I'm still pending.

I tried the "trick" and (edit) the message is, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

Is this the message people are mentioning?

I too took the test today @12:15 pm in southern California. I stopped at 75 questions. That test was HARD.

I had about 7-8 sata, some infection control, lots of peds, lots of meds, and ONE calculation.

I tried the "Pearson Vue trick" right now, and got the same message as jeanyis:

"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

Is that the message we are all hoping to see?

That is the message you def. want to see....so early congrats to u as well!!!! Oh i am glad I am not the only one who had the bluish tint question!!!! I remeber saying to myself" Get out!!!! there is a med that turns the skin blue??" the moment i got home i had to look it up to what drug it was and very upset that it was a med i have given several time on a cardiac unit during an externship last Summer!!! Oh well I will never forget it now!!! Good luck to you!!!! and congrats again!!!

Thank you sorry about my previous post i made so many mistakes!!! but do not feel bad i got that question wrong too!!! it was a pure guess!!! dont stress yourself, i told myself maybe this is one of the questions that do not count towards the passing grade!!!!

Thanks jeanyis for thinking of me this morning!! I had 75 questions...7-10 SATA (I don't remember exactly..) one put in order, no math, I didn't have a question about the bluish tint (which I never knew a drug did that haha!) but I did have plenty of med questions that made me say whhhhhat??? I thought the test was difficult..but I tried the Pearson trick and got the same message and it didn't take me to the payment screen, so I'm REALLY REALLY hoping that the Pearson trick does in fact work!!
