Johns Hopkins Accelerated Summer Entry for BSN/MSN 2014

Hi everyone! As the early and regular decision deadlines for the Hopkins accelerated programs approach, I thought I would start a new thread for this year. It seems like it's been a pretty useful source of support for prior applicants during this grueling process :)

@jmarie91 Thanks so much for sharing what your mom found out when she called! I was guessing with my fiance over the weekend and we both thought maybe something like that had happened, but it's really nice to have the confirmation.

Just received a call! I'm in! Ms. Martin said the admissions packet is on its way. Hope you all hear good news soon as well.

ksejung91 I did not receive an email nor did my status change on the application once I received my phone call.

Thanks so much @jmaire91 and @ksejung91! I did not receive an e-mail. I had a 3.56 from UMich-Ann Arbor (double major in Philosophy and Spanish). 3.97 for my nursing pre-reqs. I worked as a part-time coordinator in a local clinic for the uninsured. I also shadowed BSNs at a large hospital nearby. I've also done lots of other nuts things like teaching English in Korea and environment education/farming internships so it is probably breath of experiences that can help, too. Fall entry ABSN only. She did say on the phone that she apologized for the delay in calls and that they're swamped in the admissions office
