Hi everyone! As the early and regular decision deadlines for the Hopkins accelerated programs approach, I thought I would start a new thread for this year. It seems like it's been a pretty useful source of support for prior applicants during this grueling process :)

Congrats to everyone who has gotten in! I'm getting more and more anxious as time goes by. I hope they're still making calls :-/

Correct. And ONLY early decisions are being called for everyone out there who applied regular decision summer.

Hang in there guys! Like everyone has said they are still working through a ton of applicants with the phone calls. It also doesnt help that they are in the middle of finalizing my cohorts graduation for this Friday 12/20. Try to relax, I have been there so I know easier said then done.

I just checked my voicemail and there was one from ms.martin!!!!!!! I had to listen to it four times

She didnt specifically say my name but it has to be me right? Lollll

Does anyone know if calls are still being made? I'm kind of planning on just waiting for my letter at this point (rather than continuing to stare at my phone!) but I'm curious nonetheless. :)

I'm in the same boat as you, still waiting on a call. Many people have said they are swamped with making the phone calls so that may be the case, I feel like there is still hope but hopefully we will know soon. Let me know if you hear anything.

I'm sure there's still hope. I read on past year forums about admissions having the wrong number on file or people not getting calls until right before Christmas. It's not over till it's over! Good luck!

That makes me feel a lot better! I am also wondering if the calls are going in order that the interviews took place. I interviewed one of the last days possible so I'm thinking that may be the same order they call in. Who knows?! I know posting on here doesn't change anything but it always makes me feel better for some reason!

Ryan, I broke down and called the Admissions office. At first I was just told that I'd be getting a letter in the mail soon, but a few minutes later they called me back to tell me they were actually still reviewing my application. She said they're still reviewing a small number of them and they're hoping to get those decisions out before Christmas, but that if it looks like they won't be able to they'll let us know of the delay so we're not sitting around waiting for the mailman. I submitted my application the day before the deadline (I'm applying ABSN only) so if you interviewed late as well like you said they may still be reviewing yours, too. Keep the hope, jhuhopeful!

I'm also still waiting to hear. Applied for ABSN only. I submitted my application on the last day so maybe that's why... I just want to know!!
