Understand the rationale on questions you get wrong or questions you get right but feel it was more of a guess. Take your time and make sure you understand the question.

Thank u! I am planning to take the RN exam, I am getting so nervous. How is it compared to the LPN exam?

i'm gonna take the nclex on Jan. 7, 2008 8AM.(my 2nd try hopefully the last exam)

I am so anxious and getting more anxious everyday but i am doing my best to finish the saunder's compre book. I am reading it from cover to cover like the Bible that's why it takes me so long to finish this book..it sounds like bogus because most of the people says nobody absorbs the whole content of a book. hopefully i might be able finish reading this book asap so i could concentrate answering the practice questions in the CD atleast 100-150 questions per day.

anyone out there who'll take the nclex on January?

Hello January Test takers.

I will be taking my test in January for the second time.. I have not set a date, but at least I know the month..I am currently using Suzanne's Plan and I will choose a date when I feel comfortable, don't want to set a date and then become overwhelmed if the date is coming close and I don't feel prepared.

To everyone testing in January, I will pray for you and myself to pass and become Rn's. I pray that God gives us the wisdom, understanding and endurance to reach the finish line. And most importantly when we become Rn's, to be the best that we can be at all times.

My sister and I will be taking it for the second time in January. We haven't set a date yet, but we are trying suzannes plan. As the rest of you have said, I hope this will be it. Good luck everybody

Thanks for this thread. I will be taking the Nclex for the first time in January 2008 and as many graduates, I am nervous about taking it. I have heard comments such as the number of questions completed determines whether or not a person passes the exam; there's a lot of meds; invest in a Kaplan course and you'll pass the first time; Suzanne's plan, etc.

After hearing all of these comments, I am somewhat unsure as to what is the best way to prepare for the nclex. I do not have a test date but I assume I will be taking it in six weeks. How are the January 2008 Nclex-takers preparing for the exam?

I, too, will hopefully be taking the NCLEX-PN exam in late January. I am finishing up my first year, and I'll continue on the RN track. I'd like to get this test finished, so I can focus on the first class of the 2nd year.

Yikes...I'm nervous!!

I am using Suzannes plan. Good luck

got my online unofficial results yesterday, and i failed. i got so depressed. i just did a self-study with the learningext.com review for 3weeks, and i'd like to say that the questions on the actual are really much different from those on books or reviewers. you really need to know the concepts. i guess i would have to do the test all over again. maybe i'll take it on january or february, if i can. i'm thinking of enrolling in kaplan, with the classroom review. i have the feuer cd's, i'll try to finish those, too. i realy hope i'd pass the second time around.

oh, btw, how do we apply for a retest? do we need to start from the beginning? and how long would it take for me to take the exam again? im applying for the NY state licensure.

Welcome to the site and sorry to hear you failed.

You need to reapply to BON for resit and pay the fee, you then register with pearsonvue and pay fees. You will receive another ATT as ATT can only be used the once.

Would also suggest you think about Suzanne's plan as many good sucess results with her plan, it is free and all information can be found in the sticky New Revised First Tip and to be followed exactly
