  1. hi I was in the same boat as you. I graduated august 2007 and took my NCLEX for the first time right after and didn't pass. I also had some personal problems and just took my boards for the second time about a month ago and passed. So if I can do it you can. Good Luck and be positive:yeah:
  2. Hi, I am in the same situation. I just passed my boards and finding a new grad nursing job here is unbelievably hard!! Almost every where I've called says they aren't hiring new grads right now. I have an interview at Med Center of Aurora but unlike you this is not even close to my dream job. Oh well I guess just getting in the door and getting the experience so I can work in the field I want to.
  3. megameg There are a lot of things I did differently the second. The biggest one is that the first time I was not ready emotionally I almost unconciously didn't want to pass. I barely studied and did not take my time and read the questions. The second time I wanted to pass I used Suzanne's plan which is fabulous and although I got all 265 again I felt different, I took my time, and felt ready. I hope that helps:D
  4. This was my 2nd time taking the test and I got 265 both times so I was sure I failed. I took it on Friday and found out sunday that I passed. The amount of questions don't tell you if you passed or not. Good luck to everyone still waiting
  5. hi, I am a second time test taker and plan on taking it end of october. I am using Suzannes plan and am almost done with the first tip. I have heard nothing but good things about it and am pretty confident that it will work. My twin sister used her plan and passed on the second try. I wish everyone good luck and happy studying
  6. I just took mine today, I got 220 some questions I don't remember the exact number, I was pretty sure i was going to get all of them. I have no idea how i did. I felt pretty good shortly after the test but as the day has worn on i am seriously doubting myself. This was the 2nd time for me and i was so much better prepared and in a completely different state of mind so we shall see. Does anybody know if you get results on the weekends? I hope so because it is only thursday and i am a nervous wreck. good luck to those that have not taken it. and good luck to those that are awaiting there results.
  7. My sister and I will be taking it for the second time in January. We haven't set a date yet, but we are trying suzannes plan. As the rest of you have said, I hope this will be it. Good luck everybody
  8. hi kayla, i also just found out today that i didn't pass and I am from Colorado. You and I are in the same boat. We just have to hang in there and we will pass it the second time. I also haven't decided which review I am going to use I was thinking either Kaplan or Suzanne's plan. I have heard a lot of good things about her plan. I just don't know I am completely devistated right now as I am sure you are too. Also is it really 90 days before we can retake it. I heard 45 but I could be wrong. anyway just wanted to let you know that my sister and I are in the same boat and we should all stick together. Hang in there

i graduate in a week and half from the RN program at Concorde. It is a good program but extremely intense. There are definetly some pros and cons with the program but they are still working out the kinks. IF you have specific questions let me know traci
