Hey guys here is a new thread, now that we've started the program and aren't 'hopefuls' anymore!!
Did the powerpoints for the Nutrition lecture ever get posted to blackboard? I haven't checked yet.

Thanks Chris, I almost forgot about the dang quiz again. I just took it and got my first 10. I only wish my mind would let me forget the two test.

Oh you can forget the 2 tests, but I dont know how well that would work for your continuation in the program!
For the nutrition assessment, are the interventions just supposed to be a list with each one being a sentence or two? I know she said the problem list could just be a sentence or two for each.
Has anyone been able to print the Pharm powerpoints for wk 3? I just tried to open them and all it is is a blank slide.
Hope the studying is going well for everyone!
Chris, I just went on there to print the week 3 notes and they opened fine for me. It is a pretty short powerpoint(Antiprotozoal Agents).

Hey everyone! I've been MIA for awhile (shocker) but wanted to tell everyone good luck on their Pharm/Fundamentals exams....Mine are both on the same day (Tuesday) LOVELY! I am just now doing the nutritional paper (I did the cultural diversity paper a week in advance, but this one got postponed b/c I've practically been LIVING inside my Pharm notebook! haha! I wish we would have gotten our first papers back before turning these nutrition papers in, because I want to see which APA styles they're using to grade with. I spoke with a few students in my class today and I heard 4 different "definitions" of APA styles, each one claiming to be "official" according to a writing lab, an instructor, a book, a website, etc. There are so many different classes of opinion, and I hate to get docked for technical stuff like that. I missed two points on my first paper, so I'd like to know where they came from. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wing it!
Good luck everyone!

Hey everyone, I have a random question about the program and I don't really know who else to ask.
You know the ever-so-mysterious "cross over" option for a few PN students if spots become available? Well...do you think that counts for transferring to other campuses too?
I don't know for sure but I doubt it. I think that for transferring campuses you have to be transferring from ASN to ASN or PN to PN as space permits. But as I said I really don't know for sure.
Hope everyone got home safely today! The roads I take to get home were just wet to a little slushy so I was able to go about 35mph most of the way, where the limit is only 35 to 40 anyway. So it only took me a couple more minutes than usual. My kids' bus was about 10 min late though.
