So, why is it that some folks here always seem to have to interject their woes into threads. Consistently, it's about them. Talking about any aspect of pt care and there's a post (often from the same "usual suspects") about their issue(s).
I won't name names but you know who you are. Or maybe not.
Mini rant over.
I don't see posts as a 'me' rant. We all like to tell stories, and it's interesting reading them.
Everyone has a story, and we all like to be heard. You are not ever going to get answers in a post where nobody ever doesn't say something like: 'well this is what happened to me/what I experienced...'
I think that's being unrealistic on the net TBH.
so I'm in hi skewl and wondering if nurses hav 2 wrk wknds or nites? How much $$$ do u make ur 1st yr ??? my BFF told me nurses have to wipe b*tts . Is this true? How easy is it 2 date Dr's ? Can someone tell me why nurses R so whiny when all they do is hand out pills?
:igtsyt:
I see what you did there!
OK, this is what I think the OP means.
I've answered a lot of threads on this forum, and I've always brought some constructive information to the rants, even if I had to write a page and a half so you would understand where I'm coming from. Because it happened to me, and even if it has happened to you mine was so much worse, and relates more to what the OP asked. So I understand, and that stuff you wrote that was different than me. You are wrong, wrong, wrong, and I will keep pounding that into everyone's heads until you apologize (and maybe longer). It doesn't matter to me or anyone else that it was your experience. What you think doesn't even matter because I KNOW what's going on.

i 'think' op is saying that one doesn't always have to relay their personal experiences.
it's very feasible to advise w/o (frequently/always) anecdotal experiences.
