It's almost summer! What are your plans?

Hello my fellow school nurses!

Friday is the last day of school for us, and I'm so excited. It is kind of weird in a way since I started working here in March, and now I'm almost on vacation :)

I'm hoping to educate myself on some topics I've seen come up in the last months during the summer so I can be a bit better prepared next year, (I have a fear of having an emergency happen and not knowing what to do since I am still a very new nurse!), traveling a little (no kiddos yet!), and working PRN at another facility to keep up my clinical skills.

What are your plans?:up::)

Finish unpacking! I moved a few months ago and still have boxes everywhere. After that, my plan is sleep late and go to the pool!

I'm going to work at a special needs camp for 6 weeks. Really looking forward to the experience, but dreading being away from my family that long.

We will be at Myrtle this year too! I'm already dreaming about my toes being ion the sand!!

I'll be in myrtle Beach too - last week o' June!! Then 3 weeks of summer school then the rest of the summer to goof off :D

No extended year program for me this year! working a couple days a week at my clinic job. 2 short vacations and I hope a lot of pool/ beach time

No unfortunately we don't get back unused snow days each year :( but they are letting us out after 1/2 day. I am so ready for a 3 day weekend!
