Friday is the last day of school for us, and I'm so excited. It is kind of weird in a way since I started working here in March, and now I'm almost on vacation :)
I'm hoping to educate myself on some topics I've seen come up in the last months during the summer so I can be a bit better prepared next year, (I have a fear of having an emergency happen and not knowing what to do since I am still a very new nurse!), traveling a little (no kiddos yet!), and working PRN at another facility to keep up my clinical skills.
I'm most certainly not working! I have a serious addiction to golf and will spend at least 4 days a week on a course. My kids area grown so the hubs and I are traveling around and exploring.

Me too. I hope to spend as much time as I can on the course.
Taking a cruise in June, Canada to see my grandmother in June, Boston in July, & hopefully another trip somewhere in there. We have no children (by design) so we LOVE traveling!!!!
I am attending a school nurse symposium at our local children's hospital for continuing education.
I have worked our ESY (extended school year) the past 2 years but not this summer! Heading to TN, OR, CO for some family time. My son rides motorcycles and he will be riding in all those places so i get the privilege of being able to tag along this year. so pumped!
Me too. I hope to spend as much time as I can on the course.
I'm am seriously already booked for at least 4 days a week, that's not counting the hubs wanting to go play on the weekends. We should meet for a round!
I plan on taking the kids swimming and to the museums frequently. We'll head up to our camp in the mountains several times this summer. Most importantly, I plan on not thinking about lice, not even once!

Hello my fellow school nurses!

What are your plans?
