The unit ran out of red Jello. The Nurse Manager knows it's my favorite flavor.
I've heard that Little Pretend Nurses will no longer be able to administer jello...we will have to hunt down a Real Nurse if our patients require jello. Is this true?
LPNs must take a 360 page Healthstream competency with a 90 minute video exam for their National JCAHO jello certification in order to to administer jello which must be co-signed by 2 other nurses. Yearly or you won't be allowed to work.
Lest anyone think irritation with certain posts, flaring attitudes and cranky responses DON'T go through cycles here on AN, I refer you to this thread: https://allnurses.com/nurse-colleague-patient/the-mockery-nursing-674000.html
As you will see---you can't post, sorry, it's also long-closed!--the very same topics and complaints rear their heads over and over.
And usually it results in some seriously funny, seriously strange threads!!!
That one went on for more than 1600 posts
You know, I am really tired of threads like this. People come here for help and you people just perpetuate the idea that all nurses eat their jello.
omg, you GOT me! rofl....I read the first line and thought "what the heck got HER knickers in a twist?!" and the next line literally made me LOL.
Well done

Not if you do it right. I learned the right way in my simulation lab at Jello University.
