Is Micro harder than A&P?

Published

I am currently taking A&P I, I am doing well (low A or high B).

I am taking Mico in the summer online. I know I can do this because it will be my only class (right now I am taking 3 classes) and I can just focus on it for hours a day.

My main question is.....was Micro harder for you or A&P? If one was harder in what ways? What are the kinds of things you are required to learn in Micro? Is it all Histology stuff and slides? Thank for your help!!

While it is different for every person....I found Micro a walk in the park after A+P.

I thought Micro was fun. We got to see all sorts of neat stuff. You still have to study of course, but you might just like it.

Hi BoonersMom! :) How's things???

Micro vs. A&P? = MicroSUX!

I guess it really wasn't hard, but I stayed stressed d/t the instructor, the 8-week class, not getting home from class until 11:30 PM, then staying up late studying.......

Other that that, looking back, I did like it. I hated it at the time! :lol2:

I do agree that it does depend on the teacher and lab prof. but for me, Micro is so far better than A&P. I may be a little biased though, because my experiences with A&P teachers was not all that great except for my A&P II lab teacher. I think that the Micro lab is much better because it is more hands-on learning (which helps me tremendously). It is going to help you a lot that that is going to be your only class this summer, but please make sure to learn the basics of those bacteria (genus, species, Gram +, Gram -, etc, etc, etc...) It is extremely important. And another small note, Micro is not near as overwhelming as A&P can be. Good luck!

Micro is pretty straightforward. I like it a lot more than A&P. Much easier, not a ton of body parts and processes. You'll enjoy it. You may want to bring an old T-shirt for the lab portion. It can get pretty messy. ;)

I found A&P really easy, while Micro is proving to be much more work.

Nothing is harder than A&P, I feel if you can do that you can do anything. Back to studying for my histology practicle:uhoh3:

You are so right, NOThING is harder than A&P...Chemistry came close in the difficulty department but didn't require the endless study hours of A&P:uhoh3:

Micro is a breeze compared to A and P

I loved micro! It was my favorite class of all time! The lab was great, too! Besides the slides, we traced an epidemic and made fermented root beer. It was fun.

Alright, I wished I were in that class

All you need to sustain life is beer, bread and cheese....all made from yeast through fermentation and very nutritious!
