  1. Some guy at one of the schools I was interviewing at (he was re-interviewing) was a GeorgeTown dropout. He said the program was a bit rough and wasn't for him. That's the only thing about it I know. I was interviewing at Duke and so was he.
  2. the answer to all of your questions. one of the cardiothoracic pas in my icu did this http://www.emoryaaprogram.org/ students in the pa admissions track enter in january, and classroom and clinical education span 19 continuous months with graduation in august - five semesters following matriculation. the pa admissions track is open to certified primary care physician assistants (pa-cs) who have completed masters-level courses in anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. individuals who successfully complete this program are awarded a master of medical science degree by emory university. in june of the senior year, students in both tracks take the national certifying examination for anesthesiologist assistants. following graduation and successful completion of the certifying examination, graduates can become integral anesthetist members of an anesthesia care team practice lead by an anesthesiologist.
  3. Just those two. It's funny because Mary Karlet has run both of those programs at one time or another. She was at Duke and then left to go to Samford. I know people that graduated or about to graduate from both so I applied to both. They are very similar in many ways.

  7. Didn't get my letter yet but I'm confident as I talked to some of the staff in person. 4.0 M and S 3.73 Nursing 3.85 overall 1220 GRE 1 year ICU ACLS will have CCRN in September

  10. usually the writing score is a *recommendation, so I wouldn't worry about it. I'd go Adult ICU, preferably CVTICU.

  12. Duke interview letters won't come until the end of the month!
