  1. We as a society have created this situation. Technology is developing faster and faster, due to the publics ever-growing thirst for faster electronic devices. Unfortunately, laws and rules are made to protect persons after a problem is encountered not before.
  2. It is all about jumping through the hoops to get to the prize. Then of course colleges need to justify making money (ie. taking introductory chemistry does qualify one to take organic chemistry you first must take chm1 and Chm2.)
  3. It can only be done one way, the old way, the correct way even if it takes twice as long. Do not try and think for yourself, there will be no free thinkers here. you have no good ideas. It goes on and on......
  4. I too have woke up more than once during an endoscopic procedure, I rember feeling pain and groaning. The real problem I had with the procedure was that the provider tried to force the procedure when she met resistance. The pain after the procedure was much worse than waking during the procedure itself. Thanks Doc. Kudos to the CRNA who made the correction.
  5. I wish you the best of luck in finding a new job . I believe there should have been a chance for remediation. Everyone makes mistakes, just think before you comment next time...
  6. Sealford, Nice I like your work. I like the pomp too. I could not agree more with your comments more, live and let live...
  7. I always carry a backpack to work with an extra change of clothes. I like medicine, but I dont always like to talk about it. I need a break now and then. I like to keep work at work. I know this isn't always possible.
  8. Jrutan, You may want to look at the following web site, it has a lot of good infromation and advice it may help you in your quest... FlightWeb - For Air Medical Professionals
  9. Congratulations !!!!!!!!
  10. I think tattoos are ok, I know the general public has verying views on this topic. I think once patients get to know their provider ie Nurse, Doctor, PA they are less likely to pass judgment and make judgement about the provider based on skill and personality.
  11. I will pray for you and your family. God will make it possible for you . He has done so much for me, and I am sure he will Bless you.
  12. 1. Are there any CRNA programs that will accept Physician Assistants? 2. Most programs require a BSN to apply and one year of ICU care . 3. Are there any programs or schools out there that can work with PA's, without having to go back to school to get a BSN? Can on take classes on Nursing Model and get RN license as a PA and apply to a CRNA program? 4. My wife is tired of controlling doctors. (need help with schools list.) Thanks Guys!
