I was planning on applying for their PMHNP program. It is new so there is not much information about it, but they have a FNP program that people say is decent. If I were to attend Herzing, do you think I would have a hard time trying to find a job after? I do not have nursing experience yet as I am a new grad. I will be working in an out-patient psych hospital during the program. Thank you!

My colleague will not longer precept students from this school, said they are not up to par with other students she sees. Take that for what its worth, just one persons opinion, but she made me not want to go there.
There are many preceptors that will not take students from certain schools or online programs. In my area, some preceptors will not take students from the University of South Alabama, which many students have said has good MSN NP programs. I have heard good and bad information about Herzing University. It is up to the student to demonstrate to the preceptor what they know. It may not be the school fault the student is not prepared.
