Is anyone at all concerned that the leader of the free world...against all recommendations...is taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure...despite having high cholesterol?
Or that a doctor felt OK prescribing such to the leader of the free world despite said concerns? I mean HOLY COW!?!?!? How many will be banging down doors now to follow suit???

Are there NO repercussions for this kind of insanity??? Sorry...but WOW!!. Am good and would get the hell out of this field if I could for sooo many reasons right now...but opening a restaurant right now is out and that's what I'd wanna do...rofl.
There will be repercussions. There will be problems with supply for people who rely upon the drugs, some people will likely take the medication who shouldn't and that means unnecessary SE or deaths. Clear, consistent and amplified messaging and education from the CDC, coordinated with regional public health and private health interests, could make a positive difference. IMV
I am very concerned about the ability of our united states to make a coordinated public health effort. My professional experiences in planning for pandemic outbreaks cause me to observe this response, from the isolation of a small cabin in rural Alaska, with more anxiety than I prefer.
I am having trouble imagining what our total death count from COVID 19 will be come 1 January 2021, given our current trajectory as a collection of states and people. Transparency may be an issue at both the state and federal government when compiling data for this American epidemic.

When the gullible come to prescribers with media-inspired requests, the prescribers can counsel them on the pros and cons of therapies in question. Not only that, but the whole fish tank cleaner story has some added elements. It doesn't seem to have happened the way it was originally presented.
I think people are overlooking Trump's background in helping people live healthier lives. One of his companies used to have people send in urine samples to be analyzed to provide them with much needed vitamins.

He just needs to keep that information to himself. He has no business spouting off about the medications he's taking. A lot of his followers are ignorant enough to follow suit. Talk about the economy if he wants to, but he pretends he's an expert on medical matters which he is NOT!
Two days ago, I was trying to set up home health services for a patient who desperately needs it. He refused, saying he was going to wait until this virus is over. When I tried to tell him that the virus is not going away anytime soon and that there was no cure, he debated. His exact words were, "Where have you been? The president just said on TV that he is taking the cure. That's why he ain't wearing a mask". I was so furious that there was a very long silence on the phone as I got my professional words together and struggled to leave my street words in check. Needless to say, the conversation ended, after unsuccessful attempts at reasoning, with my just being a nurse, but the president.....

Well, you can’t help those who have no interest. I think this speaks to the pathetic education system we now have. We have touted for a long time that the US was best in everything and now we’re finding out the truth. We lived off of our post war successes without actually innovating ourselves but just the same old same old US arrogance and now we are paying the price. Sorry if this was a rant.

We live with all manner of incorrect, misleading and fabricated "titles" like the one you mentioned. I'm always amused by the notion that this is the home of the free and the brave...when we have more people imprisoned power capita than most everyone else and our heavily armed police routinely kill people because they are afraid. Let's not even talk about the concept of Christian values or social responsibility.
