Hi,

I just took the ECE Ethics test and passed with a B. I felt the Excesior's 2 pactice exams were right on! I only scored a 58 and 59 when I took them. They are a great study tool . Read all of the answers and you get valuable info! I used the TCN Study Guide for a reference and also bought an Ethics textbook for $20 on EBay.

Good Luck!

Brenda E. (there is 2 of us =)

A big congrats to you Brenda Way to go. What is your next class you want to accomplish?

Take care,

Brenda J

Oh, good idea !! What is everyone working on?

I'm doing College Algebra -using a site called Aleks. I love this thing. It costs $20 a month and is AI (learned this in the info system test) artifical intelligence. It continues to quiz you, teaches you the ones you are weak on. The drawback is -if you want to just speed through it, the AI won't let you, you have to do the question right enough times to make it happy so it'll give you a new kind.

There is a free trial if someone wants to check it out and it has math from elementary school through college, also has chemistry.

So what are you guys studying?

Hi,

I am taking a summer term Chemistry class at my local college. It is a 4 credit class with a Lab. I could not find a 4 credit Chem Class on-line and felt I would not be able to CLEP since I did not have it in High School.

Fall finds me taking a non credit Algebra class with a Public Speaking course both thru IVY TECH so I can get some financial aid. Both of my kids are in college as well =) Spring will find me taking Algebra and Tech writing with Stats in the summer and hopefully enrolled in ISU Fall '09.

I am understanding that you either take the "test out" exam and pass it or you take a chemistry with a lab. I was under the impression that we had to have a chemistry with a lab credit.?

How does this work?

Thanks,

Brenda J

Brenda,

Yes, I think you are right about the lab. The course schedule does say a lab so either you test out or do like me and take a class. All On-line Chem classes are 3 credits beacause they do not have a lab.

Good luck on testing out!

Hi,

What classes are people choosing to use as their upper credit classes?

It is my understanding that ISU requires 50 Upper credits (classes in the 300's and 400's), 39 you get from the nursing courses and the other 11 you need from other sources.

Thanks, Brenda E.

Hi Brenda E.

I was under the impression that was the reason for Analysis of Literature, Ethics, American History, Intro. to World religions, Gerontology, Pathoshysiology, and statistics.

Yeah I have all of those except my stats was 101 and I have technical writing which is the upper level writing course.
