Nowhere else is it permissible to crack up over a death. Nowhere else are gross things normal. Nowhere else can I vent about a ream of awful prima donna patients without being told I have no compassion.

Y'all know who you are. And thanks.

Oh, so that's YOU, Kathy! Are you the one on the end??

Yep! That's me on the far right end. My frilly pink blanket was in the batroom...

I prefer "crusty old bat" to some of the things I've been called in the Cdn. Forum!

But I totally agree, whenever somebody has to do somthing dirty or be asked to work a shift nobody else will, it's always one of us they come to??

Specializes in LTC, Hospice, Case Management.

I had the green blanket on - you just don't see it because I avoid all cameras...even back when I was just a baby bat.

Can we members of the Boys Club become crusty old bats, too? Or maybe... crusty old buzzards...? Either way, we'll all be COBs...

The Crusty Old Bat who helps me out most often in my current job is named William. Bats come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and genders.

I thought I was a scaly old dragon, but, I'll go with the bat title! The flamethrowing was giving me heartburn.

Are you a GoDaddy bat? Danica is from about 15 miles from my apartment.

Right back at ya baby, it's not age or gender it's an attitude! It's a lifestyle!

Every time a bell rings a baby bat gets their wings. (very loose quote from "it's a wonderful life."
