I just finished my summer term, and I'm off all this week. Next week I have a 2 night CPR class, then the week of the 23rd my nursing classes start! WOW! I'm excited, but I'm getting so scared now, all the "what ifs" going through my mind. I ordered all 600 of the required books, and I signed on the dotted line for my student loan, which makes it official. I'm outta luck if I turn back now. I wouldn't back down by choice, but what if!? Anyone else starting to panic? :uhoh21: :uhoh21: :uhoh21:

Don't panic! You've worked so hard for this, and hundreds of thousands of people have done this before you and succeeded. You will too! Wow, 600 books?! Please tell me that is a gross exaggeration!

:chuckle I am right there with ya-I start classes the same day, have orient. tomorrow, and am basically just sitting around freaking out. I'm crocheting stuff to keep my mind off impending school so that helps-plus watching some movies. I know I wont have much time for fun stuff in a couple of weeks, so I'm cramming in hobby stuff like catching up my scrapbooks and writing some letters that are overdue. Lets have a deep breath.....AHHHHHH! :rotfl:

To be scared and nervous is perfectly normal!!! If someone says they aren't nervous, don't believe them. You'll do fine. Just don't let yourself get behind in the reading. Good luck!

I am right there with you too. Since I start in one week. I can feel the panic comming on now. I have been trying to get ready for the first week so I won't be to overwhelmed right off the back and working hard on dosage calculations.
Let's try not to panic together we can do this.

Just think, this time next year, I will be the one with the jitters and you can calm me down ! :chuckle

Hey stranger! Thanks for the support! How'd you do in classes? I believe my grade in micro is a B, not sure yet. I don't want to go into too much detail on here, but 2 people I've talked to that took physio at our campus of choice, both got good grades and said it was EASY. :) :) :)

I might get fired from my job because all I do is surf nursing sites on the web! :chuckle
I am excited, and nervous. My pre-reqs are done (except micro summer 05), and I start my first of four this month too!
I agree...we all need to stick together, and we WILL get thru!!!
