Ideas for a thank you gift?

Published

Hello, so there is one girl in my class that has been awesome about making study guides before and after every test and sharing them with the whole class. She makes wonderful videos showing us how to access things and has just been very helpful throughout the semester. I would like to give her a thank you for being awesome gift, just a small token of appreciation, and am just brainstorming different ideas. I would normally bake something but we're already in finals week and I don't have enough time.

Awwww, that is very nice of you to consider the idea! You can always purchase a cookie basket or a small cake from your local bakery along with a card saying thanks. Its the thought that counts and I am sure she will appreciate it.

P.s. you can also ask some of your fellow classmates to chip in or at least sign the thank you card because it wasn't only you that benefited from her kind gestures.

I think a Starbucks card and a thank you signed by the class would be much appreciated!

That's so sweet that you're doing that for a fellow classmate. It's hard to find people who actually appreciate you these days! I agree with gift cards. You can't go wrong with Starbucks.

I had a guy who took a bunch of call for me this past year and stayed late at work for me when I was supposed to work late. I found out what his favorite restaurant was and got him a gift card there as a thank you. If you know a favorite restaurant that would work. Not everyone likes Starbucks, so find out what they like. Maybe an amazon gift card to buy a study guide or something like that.

That's very considerate of you. I like what the other posters suggested a nice bakery could do, or if you're not sure you could buy something practical for them to use in school or in daily life.

I have to commend you on your thoughtful expression of gratitude. It is people like you that I love working with. I think a gift card would be great, but the basket of cookies sounds like an awesome idea as well.

For my class I recorded all the lectures during class, converted them to MP3 format, and then emailed them out to everyone in the class. I got a couple "thank you's" but for the most part no one said anything..... People need to be more appreciative of eachother..
