I think it is time for the MCC hopefuls to start count down

42 days until letter day.....how are you feeling?

My cousin said a lot of people forget they need a gym credit and that other humanities course but wasn't sure if that affects start dates. Now we can all stress about when our start dates will be!

The PHED class, ethics/religions do not need to be completed before starting and do not effect your start date. Micro needs to be done before you can start the 1700's and the others later. Several people were in micro while they sterted the program.

I took the PHED online with the 1600s, and am taking either ethics or religion this summer since it doesn't realy fit into my schedule too well. It's not a problem.

I transferred my 100.00 dollars to nursing today and checked on my ranking. I had a 4.0 and a HESI score of 91; I was ranked 83. I'm ok with starting in Oct or Jan.; I think I will appreciate the calm before the next storm. I miss my kids, and feel this will be a great opportunity to just relax and enjoy them before the "game is on" again:heartbeat My husband brought me home a pair of scrubs from Life Uniform to congratulate me:) Thought that was sweet. To celebrate today I got my hair done, a pedicure and went out to lunch. I'm still in celebration mode:flowersfo My heart does go out to you shannonmarie and others who did not make it in. I'm happy and at the same time I do know there are others out there who are really sad. I'm sorrry. :icon_hug:

I went to try to pay my deposit today and they wouldn't let me because I forgot my acceptance letter. Just wanted to remind you all to bring that letter with you when you go to pay the $100 so that you don't have to make an extra trip like I had to do. I'll be back on Monday to pay the money so I'll check on my ranking then too. I didn't even know that we could find that out. Thanks for the info!

"They go in accordance to ranking and if you have your prereqs finished. They say at orientation that if you are currently in the middle of a prereq class that they will assume you are going to pass them. They also assume that everyone wants to start ASAP. You can tell them at orientation if you want to start at a later point for any reason. At least that's how it went last year....."

I paid my deposit yesterday and found out my ranking. I was surprised to find out I was #11. That made me happy :) and now I am really hoping that I can start in August. I see Gemberly was #8 (Good Job). Does anyone else want to share their rank to try and determine who may be starting together?

Do you find out your ranking at the same place you pay your deposit?? Or do you have to go to the enrollement desk??? I will share once I find out!

I found out my rank today. With a 3.86 and a 92, I ranked in a tie for 121

I am tied for 27th place with a GPA of 4.0 and a Hesi of 94.44...still hoping for August!
