Can you tell I am FREAKING HAPPY?

I JUST got a letter from one of the schools I applied to and I got in for fall 2007! The only strange thing is that I have to complete a basic math proficiency test with an 85%. I just took the NET there a few weeks ago so I have no idea why I have to take this. I looked on their website and I guess it's protocol. Strange, huh? They sent along a sample test and it's really just decimals, fractions, converting kilos to pounds, etc. So I should be just fine (I hope!)

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitment! This was my second choice out of five schools I applied to so I'm thrilled. I think I'm going to put my $100 tuition deposit down to reserve my spot, but if my first choice comes knocking then I'll go there.

OMG! After two years of hard work, it's finally paid off! I am over the moon!......and I drank the last of my wine last night. :nono: Must celebrate!!

I know with my school, if you hadn't already taken college level math, students were asked to take a math proficiency to see if they needed to take math prior to math for nurses. We also took the NET prior to getting accepted to the program.

I took the NET there a few weeks ago (and the math portion was a cake walk)! I also have college algebra I & II and I got A's!

I guess it's standard for everyone to take it and pass. I just think it's redundant because we already took the NET and had to pass the Math w/ a minimum 60%. Weird!:uhoh21:

I have to take some Accuplacer for one of my schools too. I don't get it either, but I will start studying for that next week. I am going to see if the will take my math NLN scores if I do well on it.
