Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!
Did anyone have trouble initially submitting their application for the program? I did and had to make a ton of phone calls to get it to go through and it ended up going through later than the due date. I was told that a lot of people had the same issue. Maybe that is delaying some of the responses
As in you moved from finalist to receiving it? Congrats!!
Everyone else- do not fear! I called (I am a finalist) and I asked when we are going to find out. I needed to know if I should take out loans in case I find out after my August bill is due. They told me on the phone that the finalists are way ahead of the game, and a lot of people haven't even heard back yet. SO DO NOT WORRY IF YOU HAVE NOT FOUND OUT YET!!! THERE IS STILL HOPE!
As for the finalists, he didn't tell me when we would know. I took out my student loan just in case.
Today I got a congratulations present from a good friend and I didn't have the heart to tell her I'm only a finalist :/ Hoping for the best.
hey guys, so glad that this thread is here! got a credit check in july and a finalist email on aug 1st.

has anyone had the experience of their FAFSA SAR changing in the summer after the submission deadline? i'm currently trying not to freak out because i got the email that i was a finalist & then contacted them about the SAR update that i got in the summer (went from 500 to 1200 - this was the 3rd time that I tried to tell them how my EFC from my school was different than the original one on the SAR that FAFSA gave me & then it changed). they submitted the change and now my status went from "in final review" to "under review". i just wanted to make sure they had all the proper information and i'm so scared that i somehow jeopardized my chance at the scholarship. also, strange and unrelated - did anyone get a call directly from nurse corps about some error that occurred on their part and that we need to be on the look out in our portal to resubmit something?
