Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!
Can someone please tell me how do you look to see if your application is under review? Where do you go to see if it's under review? Thanks I applied May 22, I have not received an email yet. I only have a 3.2 GPA
I've just been logging onto the website where we applied. https://programportal.hrsa.gov/extranet/application/ncsp/login.seam
It's the password/username you set up to apply.

Log-in in to the website with the same information you used when you filled out and submitted your forms for the application. Once you log-in, there will be a green box that says view your submitted application. Just a few lines above that it will say "your application status is" under review (or otherwise if you have been accepted).
Thank you!! Under Review, I am attending my Junior Year in IN in a BSN program. 3.2 GPA EFC I believe is 0 I get a Pell Grant but the cost of the school leaves me with a refund of 2800 for 4 months (no place to live, no transportation, food, etc) I am forced to work and with the Medsurg semester coming up I don't think I can survive working 2, 3 jobs to support myself. Oh well lets see what happens. Thanks for the help!!
I'm in Missouri, too, and haven't heard anything yet. Are you a MSN NP or BSN student? Im NP, but my EFC is over 5500, which is making me very worried, especially since my EFC is based on 2013, and since then my hours have been cut back at work & I'm having to look for a second job...I am making less than half what I made in 2013.Does anyone know if it is possible to update your EFC to reflect special circumstances such as drastic change in income?
I am in Missouri too. It sounds like they just haven't gotten to us yet...which is good news!
Good news my anxiously awaiting Nurse Corp recipients! I haven't received any news from Nurse Corp as of yet but my school of nursing just awarded me a scholarship today that's covering my tuition until I graduate! I'm so excited! No monthly stipend of course, but it beats trying to scrape and scratch for money to pay tuition each semester.

Do not lose hope! It is still so early, they are going to be telling people all the way up until the end of September it said on the website! As far as private loans, keep asking different organizations/loan companies. The system is rigged against students anyway (loan-wise) so take em out and worry about paying them back after. Don't give up on your dream you have fought so hard for.
