HRSA 2014-2015 Nurse Corps Scholarship

Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!

hey! i submitted my application today as well, hopefully everything works out!

my gpa for pre reqs was 3.9, i have a previous bachelors in biology, so cant qualify for financial aid.

unfortunately my EFC use to be 0, but it went up, just because i got married a few months ago, so im not sure how that is going to affect things.

i just wonder how long before we find out the decisions!

This is my first time applying for the scholarship and I am really hoping I will get chosen. I have a 4.0 with an EFC of 0 in an ADN program. I have 8 years of community service (non medical) that ended in 2009.

Hey guys! This is my first time applying. I have a 3.5 gpa, EFC of zero, and am asking for 1 year of funding (7 months left of the program). I have 7 years of community service experience. I really hope I get accepted. catri2007, did they let you know why you were not accepted?

Hi everyone! This is my first time applying. My EFC is 1663. GPA 3.8. Accepted into BSN program. Prior degree was chemistry. 6 years public health work experience. I also work pt as a cna. not much aid that I qualify for. I am hoping that the decisions will be made faster than last year. so far status only says under review. I submitted my application very early. not sure if that will get me a faster decision. lol.

Good luck to you all. I was completely finished with my application apart from the Verification of Acceptance form when the deadline passed. I'm still really angry with my school for screwing me over like this. I feel like I had a good shot...EFC of 0, 3.6 gpa, lots of volunteerism. Oh well, time to add some more loans to my ever-growing debt collection.
