How to properly inject your lungs with Lysol

Or bleach. Whatever kills it in a minute. Also, can someone explain to me why pulmonary tanning hasn't been tried yet?

Thank goodness Alex Azar put a labradoodle breeder with no public health or medical qualifications in charge of putting the coronavirus task force together. Maybe he can help look into why these ideas haven't been tried yet.

Haha, not so funny. I heard the tape. Mr. Trump made a gaffe, thinking aloud, like what if we could --- . Now CNN calls it a lie and he may cancel all press updates events. Let it go! All presidents make gaffes though Trump is famous for them. It's what he does. I doubt that he meant it. I am not a Trump supporter. No president is prepared to handle a crisis like this--certainly not a business billionaire. People hate or distrust him so much that they are inclined to interpret these comments as slurs or stupid. He is funny in a weird unpresidential way!

I am not a fan of Trump either which it why it so pains me when I feel the need to comment on how he is portrayed.

CNN is noted all over the internet from both sides of the ideological divide for not thoroughly fact checking their stories and for not issuing retractions or corrections when their stories are found to be either untruthful or half truths.

Washington Post has also put out false stories using factually inaccurate information that an internet savvy 8 year old could detect. Here's one

The Wall Street Journal seems to do a little better in that they at least acknowledge when they get it wrong.

If anyone actually believes that the POTUS said people should drink breach or inject themselves with Lysol or other disinfectants they really should go and view that actual unedited version of what was said that day. You can find in on Youtube. For those who won't find the time here is an analysis....

Here is what the president said during the press conference: President Trump was talking about his amazement at how disinfectants like Lysol kill the virus almost instantly. He turned to a scientist and asked if there was a way to do something like that with an injection to kill the virus instantly. He said it would take a large team of medical doctors, and it would take time.

Here’s what he did NOT say: He did not tell people to go get disinfectant and inject it. He did not tell people to drink disinfectant. He did not say that it was safe to either inject or drink Lysol.

I’ve never seen somebody’s words taken so blatantly out of context, and while I may not agree with everything the man says or does He does deserve my respect because he is the president of the United States. Just as I gave respect to President Obama in spite of the fact that I didn't like him, or his economy killing policies. Does anyone here remember when Obama was slammed for supposedly making a joke about Special Olympics Athletes?

I’m not asking for an argument or a debate here. I only want to point out that what President Trump said is not what is being reported.

I will now quietly and respectfully bow out!

Thank you for having such an objective mind. Biden does this kind of thing all the time and does not get the same response as Trump. So does Pelosi.

No one is perfect and sometimes we say silly things or things that don't come out the way we meant. I would be remiss if I caught medical people mocking a patient for such a thing.

IMHO this thread should be in the humor forum.

There just seems to be evidence that some people interpret Trump's words and language in much more literal ways. People DID actually harm themselves after Trump spoke about Hydroxychloroquine.

You don't have to bow out. Discussion is the objective, right?

At least the press and the governor of Maryland is reporting that people actually picked up the phone and called poison control in their states BEFORE drinking the Kool Aid. Trump is starting to speak in word salads. Someone needs to step up and lead him away from the podium. As soon as someone else on the team gets credit for doing something right, he will be right back at it two hours a day rambling on and wasting everyone's time.

I miss having a president who did NOT require a team of translators and a full-time damage mitigation posse every time he opened his mouth, because he could not be trusted to speak coherently.

Basically---everyone before Trump.

1. The context was preserved, his prattling was not at all reported out of context, I watched that briefing myself. He later doubled down on that, ensuring that we all got the context correct; he even undermined his new press secretary (who, like you, claimed the context was the issue) by saying he was really "just being sarcastic to reporters." Except: it wasn't remotely sarcastic, and he most clearly wasn't talking to reporters when he said it.

2. The Office of the President of the United States deserves my respect. I respect it greatly. However, the man who currently holds that title, when behaving in a manner that eliminates my ability to respect him personally or professionally, does not.

Check it out!

I totally agree, it was the way he worded it and I definitely didn’t take it literally. However, I think it’s hilarious and enjoy making fun of it ?‍♀️

My understanding is when a bleach bolus is ordered, I will place a 14g in the hand (or possibly intraocular), no filter, bleach to be slammed ivp. We are debating whether the flush should be ns or solumedrol 125mg, again slammed.

All this while lying in a super uv tanning bed with Lysol being administered via an essential oil diffuser! Post treatment Hydration drink will consist of high ph water mixed beverage with patient’s dietary floater choice of CLR or Windex shots.
Okay, we are all getting a bit punchy with all of this...
