How much of a raise did you get this year?

Published

(if any, I suppose)

Just wondering how much of a yearly increase everyone got. I am a RN in Florida and was surprised to get 7.5% increase (equaling $1.84/hr). I thought it would be a lot less. I know I am lucky to get anything these days. What did all of you get? Do you think it's fair?

My raise this year was the same as my raise last year: Zilch, zero, zippo, nada.

Nothing at all. One lady that's been with us 25 years though got a 1 cent raise. Whoopee. I would throw 1 cent back at the manager's face. You can keep it. What a joke.

I got some percent which came out to about .97 cents an hour, which I was quite happy with, I am in Florida also... then I switched jobs and sort of lost some of my raise, sadly.

My contribution to coverage went up about 30 bucks along with medical deductable.

I was told I'd get $1 raise but ended up with 50 cents. I was quite ****** but after reading some of these posts I'm a bit more appreciative.

Raise, what's that, bwahahaha! Ahem, sorry.

Let's see, we got our evals one month and were told raises were being capped at 2 percent. I got my few cents from that.

THEN a couple months later we were informed we were all getting a 3 percent pay cut, effective immediately.

In the end I have been at my job for five years and am making about 11 cents more than when I first started. Another five years of this with prices and cost of living going up and wages frozen or going down I'll be working 60 hrs per week to maintain my beautiful downtown cardboard box.

I switched jobs and got a 40% raise. Best idea ever.

Nada this year...county is in a crunch...

0% cost of living for the last 2 years. 1.5% merit year before last - we are only eligible for merit every 2 years to control cost. :(

If you got a raise , be thankful. I'm just thankful for no RIF!

Huh? Haven't seen a raise since I started nursing two years ago...hospital says maybe it might do be "forced" to this year...

On paper, yes. Reality, they did away with daily overtime, incentive pay, pay for credentials, etc. Took a loss of nearly $2 an hour.
