Even though I know my program was highly over priced reading these threads makes me feel like I paid more than most people do. My program was $28,000 and I graduated in 2010. How much was your program and what year did you graduate?

My pre-req's, my ADN program, and RN-BSN program totals 25k.

That's not too bad at all. Was it community college route?

LPN program i want to do is 25K!!! Makes me cringe.

My LPN program costs about $32-34,000 (give or take) with books and uniforms included and they pay like 75% of board fees. But thanks to grants and financial aid I only gotta pay like $14,000. Seems like my school is way over priced

Holy cow!!! I went from LPN-ASN in 2010, and just completed an RN-BSN a couple of weeks ago, and I still haven't paid out that kind of money!! My LPN program back in the dark ages was only around $500!:cheeky:

$650 (not a typo) 1976. Included books, uniforms and tuition. 52 weeks/ 40 hours per week.

I graduated at the top of my class and got my $$ back as the reward. Thought I had won the lottery!

I graduated 8/27/2014 and it was 15,000. That included the $200.00 for boards. Stethoscopes, bp cuff, pulse ox, books were all included in that. It was a 52 week program.

Total cost for the LPN Program at our local BOCES now is $8450.00, which includes the NCLEX fee of $343.00.

I graduated from the LPN program when the school was in Oswego, back in 1978, paid $5500.00 still a good bang for your buck. The only problem is it did not articulate so when I went back for my RN many years later I had to take everything including the full 2 years of the RN program. How is it now?

How much does an LPN earn in Canada?

Ugh my school was about $37,000, after grants and paying some throughout school, I am now the mortified owner of a $24,000 (now $20,000 after 2years of payments) student loan. I do not recommend doing this! At the time, i thought i was doing what was best for my future, and was scared to commit to my Rn. My payments are huge compared to my pay. I went to a private school and feel I received a great education compared to some nurses I know, but i would highly suggest others go for their Rn or anything else. What I wouldnt do to go back in time. Some Rn programs are only $10,000 around here. ?
