How many semesters is your program?

I start my adn program this fall and am wondering how long other students programs last. My program will last 5 semesters, it seems short from what I've heard. Any input? How long was your program? If all goes well I'll graduate early 2013.

Our program is five semesters, too. It is consecutive and the only breaks we get are Christmas and Thanksgiving. We go fall, spring, summer, fall, and spring. I start in August 2011 and will finish in May 2013.

2 years (no summers) 4 semesters total (once you are accepted into the program)and that's long enough! It's brutal. LOL Will finish in December!

6 semesters in the program, 2 semesters of pre-reqs. 8 total = BSN

My ADN program is 4 semesters back to back, no summer off, so 16 months from start to finish. But this is just the nursing courses, you must have all gen ed and pre-req courses completed before starting.

Top choice BSN program: Basic: 6 semesters=3 years OR Trimester: 3 trimesters=2 years

Two other BSN programs: 9 quarters=3 years

ADN is 4 semesters=2 years

And you guys wonder why my top choice is the way it is?!?!?! LOL

MUST HAVE ALL PRE REQS DONE BEFORE APPLYING lol

my top choice is the only school that lets you have ONE pre req in progess but unless you have a solid 4.0 then you wont get accepted (especially now with the economy and budget cuts, only risky people waste applying with a course in progress)

Our BSN program is 5 semesters: Summer, Fall, Spring, Fall, Spring OR Fall, Spring, Fall, Spring, Summer

Pre-reqs, including Pharm and Patho, are all completed before the program starts.

"4 semesters", 2 of them are abbreviated for two summers...a little over 13 months

My ABSN is apparently 2 and 1/2 semesters: A 7-week summer session, a fall and a spring! Then graduation :D Can't wait!!
