Out of curiosity how many students read through their Board's meeting minutes? Does your state's BON publish them online?
I have been reading ours for a few months now. There is a lot one learned there!

I do and I always have. It is the nurses responsibility to know what the BON is discussing as it affects his/her practice.

I did as a student and continue to do so as a licensed nurse.

ALWAYS. It's a glimpse at the inside scoop of what's going on in your state's nursing world. I'm always amazed at what I learn by reading the minutes. Ours here in Texas are published on the BON website.

I receive an email and read the quarterly as well as monthly meeting minutes online...It's very accessible!

Yes, ours are on the BON website as well, so readily accessible also!
Our BON puts out two newsletters a year, spring and fall. Meetings are held monthly and the minutes are posted online.
I really enjoy reading the minutes. It's going to be interesting to sit in on a meeting this semester.

Ours are online. I read through them and had the opportunity in my final semester to attend a session.
