I just want some insight on everyone else's experience.
I live in the suburbs of Cleveland, and it takes me about 30-45 minutes to get to my lectures/clinical sights depending on traffic.
I commuted every day-took 2 trains to get to classes. best i ever had was 52 mins. average was 55-60 mins. clinical was the train ride plus 17 min walk or 10 min bus/subway ride. my longest commute was my peds rotation. that was 60 min train+5 min walk +30 min subway ride.
I'm very thankful I never had to drive into the city-tolls+gas+parking is REALLY expensive in the chelsea area of NYC. the train wasnt cheap but at least i could study during my commute

Mine was an hour and a half which I cut down to 45 minutes to an hour by driving as fast as the rest of the traffic. The commute wasn't a problem at first, but became more of a detriment as time went on. I discovered I could get the bus at about the halfway point and also could catch a commuter train there when they extended the line. I enjoyed both of these options for the relaxation time they provided.
