How do I find out the passing rate of nursing programs in my area? Like how many students graduate from the program and pass the NCLEX?

Hello EmilyEmily.... Weren't you in a program?
That information would most likely be your state's board of nursing website.

If you go onto the BRN website they should have all the pass rates for all nursing schools.

Michigan does not show pass rates on their BON website. You will have to contact them personally to get the list.

They don't show PASS rates. They show NCLEX passing rates for the graduates. If you want to find out what percentage of students who were admitted completed the program and graduated, you would get those numbers from your school.

It depends on your state. My state's BON publishes the number of students sitting for the NCLEX as well as the number who pass/fail for every program in the state. It is easy to compare these numbers to original cohort size if you don't wish to ask the schools directly. This is assuming your BON reports NCLEX results in the same manner.

My program shows how many graduate along with passing rates (but the passing rates do not necessarily tie in with the graduation rate if they have people taking NCLEX late or repeating it).

Go to the LL&R web page for your state, their should be a link for education and it shows all the colleges in your state either RN or LPN programs. It shows how many took NCLEX and what the percentage pass rate for that college. Hope that helps.
