How did you find out about allnurses?

Hey everyone . just wondering how do YOU find out about allnurses.com. I found out about it when I was searching for somehting about nursing school and I looked for it on a search engine. I happened to pass this site on that search. I thought this was interesting site, but not exactly what I was looking for at the time. When I finally realized I was going to do it (nursing school). I thought about this site and been hooked here ever since.:)

a person whom i chatted with online sent me the link and thought i'd be interested since i was in nursing school at the time......and he was da^n right!!!!! this is the most helpful and informative nursing site i've ever come across...halleluyah!!!

I was googling around looking for a good stethoscope to buy and somehow it sent me this direction! I'm so glad I found it allnurses, just wish I would have found it sooner because I'm in my last semester of nursing school and this community would have helped me so much the past few years of school! Glad I'm finally here though :D

Google search. I think I just put in "nursing". I really feel educated about actual working conditions for nurses since finding this site.

:yawn: A fellow nurse told me about the sight. It's a great place to pass some time on those long, quiet nights! I've told all my fellow nurses who go on-line about the site.

I stumbled across it on a search in yahoo. Back in 1998, came here alot for a long time. I have been extremely busy, and found a lot of other things I do take up time. Not here as much now. However, I still hit the site every 2-8 weeks or so.

I subscribed to this nursing humour newsletter and allnurses.com is one of the links... I visited the site and felt at home right away. :)

My first post :-) Hello all, I'm Jenna, 29yo mom of 3 set to start clinicals for my BSN in Fall 05 at St. Francis University in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

I found out about allnurses.com from a page-a-day nursing humor calendar that my husband gave to me for Christmas. Several of the jokes/stories/anecdotes say "Overheard on allnurses.com" next to them. I just had to check it out!

I'm so glad I did... I've been lurking for a few weeks now and I'm hooked.

Google again. I forget what I was searching for, but this site is awesome! I've learned lots, and on nights like last night and tonight, it helps me decompress from clinical (last night a fellow student's pt coded, and tonight mine came awfully close. welcome to surg!) :uhoh21:

As a second year student, I love to hear other's stories, good and bad. It helps keep my days in perspective.

I was searching on Webcrawler for NICU nursing information. I just about went back to my search, but I looked around and was suprised :yelclap:
