How far do you plan to take your ed?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I was wondering, how far is everyone planning on taking their education?

I'm doing an ADN prog, then planning on moving so I can complete my BSN, then go onto am MSN for ANP.

With so many options out there for nurses I'm curious to see what everyone has planned.

I'll be getting my BSN next December, if all goes well. Then I"d like to work for a year or two, and then go back and get a master's to be an NP. CRNA school may be a possibility, as well.

Getting my BSN in three weeks!!! Whoo hoo!!! Anyway, I plan on working for about three years and then going to CRNA school.

I'm planning on working in ICU/CCU for about 2 years then going on to CRNA school after receiving my BSN. We'll see how all that goes!

ADN to BSN to CRNA. No breaks.

I, like the other posters, going for my RN ASN. I am 44 tomorrow, don't know if I feel like going back for BSN, but if I do, my employer can pay for it!

I would like to get a BSN, and then a Masters in Public Health. Who knows what will happen after that...

I've gone from LPN (25 yrs) to ADN to BSN and now I'm working on my Master's. Hope to finish in 3 more semesters. I'd be done in 2, but I switched from CNS program to the adult NP.

I currently have a BSN and plan on applying next fall for CRNA school...... I am currently (hence the name) in the CICU.

I am currently working on my BSN. Will work for a year or two and than go on for my MSN and become a CRNA.

It's nice to see all the people who are interested in becoming a CRNA!

Specializes in ICU.

I am going to get my ADN then(unless I don't get into the very competitive ADN program I will just go for the BSN) BSN and on to a Master's program. Currently I am leaning (heavily) towards becoming a CRNA, but I am not ruling our becoming a midwife or nurse practitioner. I am going to see what I like during clinicals during my ADN. I know so many nursing students who went in with one area they thought they would like, to find out something else interested them. I definitely know I want at least a Masters, which is why I am so anal about my grades now. Anyone find that people just don't get why we want A's so bad???

I guess most ppl will be trying to get a masters as I will myself.

Makes me wonder, how many BSN's go and get a PA degree??

ADN -> BSN -> MSN (CRNA)
