  1. Thanks guys for the positive feedback. I hope that is what I was answering (higher level, harder questions) because if those were the easy ones...that would be impossible to pass. Is it true that select all that apply questions are higher level questions as well?
  2. I do not feel confident at all after taking the NCLEX this morning. The test was so hard and I don't think there is anything in this world that would have helped me get through it. I had 75 questions...and have no confidence that I passed with 75. I just needed to vent...Thanks.
  3. Gentle bump... Just trying to find out how many questions everybody did a day and for how long. Do you think questions alone prepared you?
  4. Sorry! I have no idea how that thumbs down icon got in there! It should have been nothing at all.
  5. Just a quick poll to see how prepared everyone was before taking the NCLEX. 1. How many questions a day did you do? 2. Did you review content or just do questions? 3. How long did you prepare for the NCLEX? 4. Did you feel ready before you went in to take it? Thanks!
  6. What about Children's Hospital of Philadelphia? They are a level IV NICU with a great transport team.
  7. How many did you do before taking the NCLEX? And...did you do any while in school? Did they help you succeed with nursing tests? Thanks for your input! S
  8. Thee-Thee, When did you graduate from Abington? I currently attend their school and will be graduating next year.
  9. Thee-Thee, How did your interview go with Cooper? I have seriously been considering Cooper. Could you also provide the starting grad rn rate? Thanks! Shahana
  10. I was just wondering if there is anybody here that currently works at Cooper and how they like it. I am currently in school and will be graduating next September with my RN. I have been considering Cooper, as well as Philly's big hospitals, and just wanted to find out if Cooper was a good place to work. Also, does anybody know the rate for a new grad? Thanks for the info! S
  11. Hi... I am currently in Abington's evening/weekend program. Just started our 3rd semester - my user name isn't reflective of when I will be graduating...:) Are you in the day or evening program? All I can say is that it's a tough program...especially for people who work full time. However, you learn alot and there are some awesome instructors!
  12. Thanks daytonite for responding... The pain of the abdomen has decreased. The pt does have a liver problem...it just hasn't been dx yet. Bx will be done once anemia - blood clotting issue is resolved. The enlarged liver & spleen is what the pt came in for. I was actually going to use the Impaired Gas Exchange and Fluid Volume Deficit since the pt has a severe decrease in I/O. Since the dx has not been established of the organ, only guesses right now...I'm assuming I'm going with the pt's current response correct? So confused!
  13. I forgot to mention...pt also has decreased I/O.
  14. I am struggling with a priority nursing dx. Maybe someone out there can help me? Or at least let me know if I am on the right page... Pt has hx of asthma, atelectasis, anemia. Presented with abdominal pain which has been controlled (enlarged liver/spleen). Pt is tachycardia, sob, weak/fatigue. I was going to use Impaired Gas Exchange r/t atelectasis and then Activity intolerance r/t anemia. Or...should I be using deficient fluid volume r/t anemia since their is a risk for bleeding? I am so confused. Any help would be great! Thanks S
  15. Thanks for the great info so far! Please...keep the suggestions coming!!
