I attended a pre-nursing social on Thursday, March 13th where they announced the letters were going out via email...

March 14th I spent all day pretending I wasn't checking my email all day. I went to the beach with a friend to pass the time. FINALLY at 4 pm I got THE LETTER!

My husband and I celebrated with Thai food and a new MacBook Air! And I was fortunate, I was accepted at a school somewhere tropical!

Specializes in Varied.

I hope I can celebrate this week!

playing the waiting game right now!

I received a phone call. The college previously only sent letters of acceptance, so the call caught me off guard. After I realized they were calling to notify me of acceptance, I was ecstatic. My husband and I celebrated with a nice dinner the following weekend~

Specializes in Gerontology RN-BC and FNP MSN student.

I got my ASN acceptance on Valentine's Day after coming from a 12 hour LPN shift. Happy Valentine's Day to me! ?

I went bed because I had to work in the morning!

Waiting on my acceptance letter- should be here in a week!

I received my acceptance yesterday when I got home from my 12 hour shift as a CNA II in Hemoc-Oncology and I haven't stopped grinning from ear to ear! I want to encourage every applicant and student out there to keep on trying! I am a very young 60 embarking on a second career after 30 plus years in corporate America. If I can do this so can you!

Hang in there!

OMG. Letters went out today. I'm hoping it's in my mailbox tomorrow!

Got my letter yesterday. They were supposedly mailing them today, but all week I've been impatiently waiting for the mail. I was sure it was a 'no' because the envelope was so thin -- just one sheet of paper. When I was applying to schools back in the day, a thick packet meant yes, a single page meant no. Then I read, "It is a pleasure to inform you..." :D

I got my letter 2 days ago by e-mail and when I saw it I literally could not close my mouth. I was pretty much in shock the whole night and when I finally wiped the drool that was about to fall from my mouth, I called my husband and kids over to the computer to read it too. Big hugs and kisses all around. Super Blessed!!!
