Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.
I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

I asked the coordinator the same thing when I spoke with her. She said there is a possibility they could make a few more calls on Monday, but she thinks they're finishing up today. The people who make the calls are in HR and she is in a different department, so she doesn't fully know their schedule. I hope they call you! If they don't you might want to call or email to check the status of your application.

That would be so neat! It’s my dream job as well. I definitely felt a connection with the management team and educator for the OR. Congratulations to you as well
