  1. Thank you ! I used uworld which is exactly like NCLEX when it comes to question structure I graduated in March took about 2 weeks to relax then started doing 75-100 questions a day
  2. Hey ladies and gentlemen if any are here I just got my NCLEX results I passed 75 questions in under an hour !! I have accepted a position at MH southwest ER and start in about a week! Just wanted to give you guys some motivation ! Stay confident and stay positive y’all got this and let things fall into place ! I never thought I would be in the ER, all through school I knew I was going to be a Med-surg nurse for life well my director and manager saw bigger plans for me and loved my work ethic and even made it possible for me to start early! (I currently work on medsurg as a PCA) I’m so incredibly nervous but it’s a good nervous I know I will encounter some challenges but I’m so excited to learn and become a great nurse. So just remember you are exactly were u are supposed to be !! Good luck !!!
  3. Thanks I was contacted by a Recruiter, peer interview went ok but they weren’t nurses from the unit I interviewed for. I think my initial interview was what got me the job the two managers really liked me the energy was phenomenal it wasn’t just an interview we had a great conversation very reflective
  4. Just received a phone call offer from HCA Clearlake IMCU good luck ladies
  5. I was scheduled based on the unit I picked
  6. Have you tried nursing homes/LTC/SNF sava has a GN program or google ones in your area and pop up its better to apply in person (just my opinion) I know it’s not ideal but experience is experience I have my BSN although I have gotten a few interviews so far I have still applied to my community nursing homes just in case and the good thing is they normally don’t require contracts and you can continue to apply to GN positions because most are open to nurses with less than a year of experience. I hope I helped and good luck!
  7. I picked (medical) which is basically float pool I would work on all units is what I comprehended from what the recruiter said they also had surgical, hematology, and OR openings
  8. Anyone familiar with oakbend in Richmond I got a call from them but I haven’t called back I’m a little nervous indeed and Glassdoor have a lot of negative comments about them
  9. I’m guessing not many have been contacted by MD Anderson haven’t heard much chatter, I have an interview next week with them and was wondering how their process goes
  10. Yea it was all over the place my intial interview was with IMU managers but my peer interview was with medsurg charge nurses I didn’t t really get why I was talking to people from a whole other unit but they were very nice so I guess lol
  11. HCA said offers will start about 10 days post interviews which were on Wednesday Harris haven’t even interviewed at the informational session they said they are just now starting screenings interviews will be in April offers in May and that’s hopefully
  12. 27.50 is standard for MD, HCA, and Harris memorial moved up to 28.80, these are base pays there are shift differentials, weekend differentials and I’ve even heard of people getting geographical differentials, MD also give extra pay for specialties. St luke and Methodist is still a mystery for me
  13. They sent an email a few weeks ago asking a few questions and a paper to fill out asking about location and unit preference
  14. Selected candidates will receive a private invite the week of March 25th with additional details.
