I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I had applied for Houston Methodist's Nurse Residency Program back in February. Does anyone know anything about Methodist Clear Lake??

Has anyone gotten a second interview at St. Lukes TMC? How did that go?

I'm not sure about all the units but I only had one interview before I received an offer

I also received an offer after just the one interview!

I have a second interview with St. Lukes TMC coming up. Have you received an invitation for a second interview? If so, for what unit?

Yes I have! I was going to ask how the interview questions were and if they were different from the first round. The email said Tower 16

Hey what rules are required to get tuition reimbursement? Like do you have to work a year for them? Are you allowed to leave after you graduate or do they make you stay a certain amount of time?

Does anyone know if HCA is still hiring? I know they have a bunch of open residency positions but I don't want to waste my time if they've already been filled. Does anyone have an HCA recruiter email?

They are still hiring. They are having an on-site hiring offer event today at Kingwood. I can PM you a link on it. Also all of the recruiters’ email. 

I don't think I can post their email on here since it has their names in their email addresses.

Is it just kingwood still hiring or are other locations as well?
